Payment Policy
To secure your spot on one of our transformative Healthspan Holidays, a non-refundable booking deposit of AUD$500 is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance of your holiday payment is due 60 days prior to your trip's commencement date. Please note that our prices are quoted per person, based on twin-share accommodation (you can share with another guest or bring a friend/partner), or for private rooms where specifically indicated. Flights are not included in the holiday price. All participants must hold adequate travel insurance covering all activities listed in their chosen itinerary.
Travel Insurance: Your Adventure Safety Net
While we encourage you to live actively, we also want you to travel wisely. It's important to understand that your domestic health insurance (e.g., Australian private health insurance) is unlikely to cover you for overseas adventures like those offered by Healthspan Holidays. It is your personal responsibility to arrange comprehensive travel and health insurance that adequately covers your entire trip and all planned activities. While we strongly recommend this, Healthspan Holidays does not provide insurance products and cannot be held responsible for any medical, financial, or other liabilities you may incur due to insufficient insurance coverage.
Understanding Cancellations
"Cancellation" refers to not attending your scheduled holiday, including any postponement or rescheduling. "You" refers to the guest making the booking, and "We" refers to Healthspan Holidays. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and while no one plans to cancel, we urge you to read and understand our cancellation policy before making your reservation. We highly recommend considering travel cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
Travel Cancellation Insurance: A Smart Choice
Depending on the policy terms and conditions, travel cancellation insurance may cover some or all cancellation fees. For your information (and not as advice), many insurance providers require policies to be purchased within 14 days of your initial reservation to offer optimal protection. Please consult directly with insurance providers for specific details.
Guest Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees may apply depending on when you cancel, as per the following schedule:
* 60 days or more before your holiday start date: You will receive a refund of your full holiday payment, minus the AUD$500 non-refundable booking deposit (less any bank or exchange fees).
* 30 days or less before your holiday start date: The entire payment for your holiday will be forfeited.
Due to our advance commitments for accommodation and other arrangements, we are unable to make exceptions to this policy for any reason. We do not offer credit or refunds for late arrivals or early departures. Should you wish to transfer to another Healthspan Holiday, this is possible 30 days or more before your original trip start date, subject to availability and a transfer fee of AUD$250. Please note that booking deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Healthspan Holidays Cancellation Policy
While we pride ourselves on our consistent record of running scheduled trips, and will always strive to do so, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally necessitate a cancellation by Healthspan Holidays. In such an event, you will have the option to transfer your full payment to another Healthspan Holiday (either a currently scheduled trip or a future offering). Alternatively, you may request a refund of your applicable payment, which will be processed to the extent possible, taking into account any non-retrievable costs we have already committed in anticipation of your holiday. Healthspan Holidays is not responsible for any expenses you may incur in preparation for a cancelled holiday, such as flights, other accommodation, or loss of work.
If an event needs to be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, pandemic), you will be offered your choice of a place on the newly scheduled event date or a 100% credit voucher to use on any of our future holidays.
Passports, Visas & Documents
It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure they possess a valid passport, all necessary visas, and any other required travel certificates or documents for every country visited during a Healthspan Holiday. Please check entry requirements well in advance of your departure.
Third Parties
Healthspan Holidays acts as an organizer for your trip. We hold no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third-party providers or independent contractors (e.g., airlines, hotels, local tour operators). This includes situations where they may modify a service from its advertised nature on the trip.
General Waiver: Embrace the Adventure!
You acknowledge that during your Healthspan Holiday, you voluntarily participate in all activities arranged by the organizers. To the fullest extent legally permissible, you surrender your right to any cause of action against Healthspan Holidays arising from any loss or damage to person or property that may occur during your holiday. We encourage you to engage fully, but always within your personal limits and with awareness of your surroundings.
Photo/Video Release Form
By booking a holiday with us, you grant Healthspan Holidays the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use photographic portraits, images, and videos in which you may feature, taken during the course of your holiday. These may be used, republished, or copyrighted for commercial purposes in association with Healthspan Holidays' business. You hereby release and discharge Healthspan Holidays from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of such photographs and video footage, including, without limitation, any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
